Chocolate Microwave Mug Cake

A warm, comforting chocolate mug cake made in the microwave in just minutes. Gluten-free, vegan, low carb and high in protein.

Ingredients

  • 5 cubes of dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup milk of your choice (I used soy milk)
  • 2 teaspoons natural maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon good-quality cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons almond flour
  • A pinch of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter of your choice (I used hazelnut butter)

Instructions

  1. 1Place the chocolate cubes, coconut oil and milk in a cozy mug that is microwave-safe.
  2. 2Microwave for 1 minute to melt.
  3. 3Take it out of the microwave and add the rest of the dry ingredients to the mug.
  4. 4Stir and return to the microwave for another 2.5 minutes, and that's it.
