Chickpea Chocolate Protein Cake
A vegan, high-protein chocolate cake built on a base of cooked chickpeas, baked in the microwave in just 10 minutes. Gluten-free, egg-free, and dairy-free.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas (if using canned chickpeas, make sure there is no salt in the ingredients)
- 1 cup milk (I used oat milk)
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/3 cup 100% natural silan (date syrup)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons flax seeds
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- A little coconut oil for greasing the pan
Instructions
- 1Place the chia seeds and flax seeds in a powerful blender and grind them into a powder.
- 2Add all the remaining ingredients and blend until you get a cake-like batter texture.
- 3Choose a microwave-safe pan and grease it with coconut oil.
- 4Pour the batter into the pan and microwave for exactly 10 minutes.
