Garlic Bread

A vegan, protein-rich garlic bread - gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free.

Ingredients

For the dough

  • 1 cup green buckwheat flour
  • 1 cup teff flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp psyllium (essential, no substitute)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 cups water

For the garlic

  • crushed garlic (to taste)
  • salt
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. 2Mix all the dough ingredients into a slightly sticky dough.
  3. 3Cover the bowl and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4Place the dough in a pan and shape it into a loaf or rolls.
  5. 5Mix the crushed garlic with salt and olive oil and spread it over the bread.
  6. 6Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes.
