Protein Rolls

Yeast-free protein rolls, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green buckwheat flour
  • 1 cup teff flour
  • 1 cup protein powder (e.g. almond protein powder)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 tsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp psyllium
  • juice of 1 small lemon
  • seasoning to taste (salt, black pepper, za'atar)
  • sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. 2Mix all the ingredients into a stable, uniform dough.
  3. 3Shape into rolls (no special pan needed).
  4. 4Top with sesame seeds and bake for about 20-25 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
  5. 5Let the rolls cool before serving.
