Toaster Flatbread with Chia

A high-protein flatbread made in the toaster from just two ingredients, gluten-free, egg-free and dairy-free.

Ingredients

  • Protein yogurt (I used a vegan soy-based yogurt)
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the toaster.
  2. 2Grind the chia seeds into a powder in a grinder.
  3. 3Place the yogurt and chia powder in a bowl and mix into a smooth paste.
  4. 4Line the toaster with parchment paper and spread the batter on top.
  5. 5Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the strength of your toaster, then remove.

This came about when one of the women I train asked me for a post-workout protein idea that did not include tahini, so here is a two-ingredient toaster flatbread. Spread whatever you like on it, enjoy and bon appetit.
