Two-Ingredient Flaxseed Rolls

Simple, healthy rolls made from just two ingredients (three if you count the water): gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and high in protein.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flaxseeds
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Spices to taste (I used salt, black pepper, za'atar and oregano)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. 2Grind the flaxseeds into flour in a spice grinder.
  3. 3Place all the ingredients in a bowl, mix, and let the batter rest for a few minutes.
  4. 4Shape into rolls as desired and transfer to a baking tray.
  5. 5Lower the heat to 180°C (350°F) and bake for about 20 minutes.
